Learn the basics of hand embroidery in one afternoon. Both beginners and those who have done some embroidery are welcome. You’ll learn how to transfer a design onto muslin plus the basic embroidery stitches including how to do lettering. A practice piece will be provided by the instructor for class.

Bring these supplies to class: (all supplies are available to purchase at the shop)
- Embroidery Hoop
- Small sharp scissors
- A marking pen or pencil. A Frixon pen works great or an ordinary fine-lead mechanical pencil will do.
- Embroidery needles
- Embroidery floss from your stash to do the practice piece.
The numbers in parenthesis are the DMC colors used by the instructor on her sample but any variety of colors are fine. We’ll have a thread pack available to purchase with the colors below if you don’t have a stash.
